In the Spring of 2009, Anime Fun TV was invited to host San Japan’s First annual AMV Contest that was slated for July of 2009. This was the first ever for Anime Fun TV to host an AMV Contest for any Anime Convention. There are three categories created.

By the end of the AMV contest submissions, we have had over 50+ AMV submissions combined from all across nation & world. Un-fortunately, due to the time schedule only 30 of the 50+ AMV’s will make the cut and only 6 of the 30 would be winners & runner-up’s.
The San Japan 2.x AMV special will consist of all the qualifiers & winners of the Peoples Choice Award, that were voted by actual Convention attendees.
