As you all know, the website is down, including the podcasts, I have gotten allot of complaints about how big and how long it takes to download a episode.

Let me explain what’s going on, right now I’m using a high-end Mac Mini as the server; yes, you can make a Mac Mini a web-server, hell, you can make ANY Mac with OSX with just one click. So, I’m using Time Warner Cable’s (TWC) road runner internet service, and even with there “Turbo” package, the side moves quite slow. About 2 months ago I signed up with Mobile Me when it debut, ever since then I’ve been playing around with it, and its pretty neat.  One of the best things is it gives you space for your own website 20GB of HD space, and 200GB of bandwidth a month.

This is neat, I can keep things clean and simple, and also I can finally use iWeb, a great app which all this you see is neatly created for you. I love it, one nice thing too its only $100 a year instead of paying an extra $50 a month for TWC. Currently my bill from TWC is over $200 so I could defiantly use the break.

One big problem though, the podcasts. Yes I know the podcasts are big in file size, there size is about 350MB, which is big for a 30 minute video, what I’m looking to do is compress the video again I would LOVE to get it to down to 30MB for a fast and easy download of the podcast AND it wont eat much of the bandwidth. So stay tuned everyone, and just so you know, the website will be up sooner than the podcasts, so don’t expect the podcasts to be up anytime soon

As you may know, The site is down, so are the podcasts.  I’m currently working on a revamp of the main site, and re-encoding the podcasts to make the downloads, download more quickly, currently it takes close to 2-3 hours just to download a episode.

Hey everyone!

As you all know, new show are airing already, but since the City of S.A. doesn’t like airing different episode each week, where mostly suck with a new episode every month.

Anyway! Tomorrow we’ll be attending Realms Con, from about 10am-ish, to 2pm-ish, we wont have a table or anything, but we’ll be there supporting the con as we wait to the big one, OniCon! So if your heading over there, and happen to spot me, come by and say Hi. ^-^

Good News!! New Episodes coming!!!

Thats right, the finale to Oni-Con 2005 is coming! I was able to get the two missing episodes re-done, in-time to submit them to the city on this monday! Get excited people!!!

Also just in time for some national anime conventions such as Realms Con, and especially Oni-Con.

Speaking of anime conventions, San Japan was this weekend, I did manage to go, It was okay, however there are massive amounts of improvements, and also ideas that can be done, however I will speak of non in order to keep some trade secrets that we are planning in the future. =3

That takes us to our next topic, new web polls; One, is the the big one, Best in Season 4 poll is up, and also the results of best AMV on each episode of Season 4. Two, is a San Japan poll, did you enjoy it? did you hate it? Submit your vote!

Welcome again folks, sorry again for the lack of updates, its kind of hard doing several things at the same time, I know most of you want new episodes but just be patient with me, i have new shows however some how I lost 2 of the new dvd’s of the new show, either there already at the public access office or there lost in this mass of confusion i call my room, and there’s not a way re copy them since some of the source files are in that stupid crashed hard drive, i might have to just bite the bullet and just fork out of my pocket and get that drive back.

Meanwhile, San Japan is this weekend, i might plan on going, then again not, while i do support anime conventions here in S.A., San Japan has a lot of dark history behind it, and for one, San Japan is NOT the future of Anime Conventions here in San Antonio, its more like foreplay; But we’ll see either way.

Oh, btw, for you iPhone and iPod Touch users, we now have a cool logo for a web-clip button for both iPhone and iPod Touch, just touch the “+” on Safari using iPhone or iPod Touch, and touch “Add to Home Screen” just wait a minute or two, and the little icon should appear for your web-clip for the iPhone and iPod Touch, for you Mac users and Windows users, if you wanna take a peek at the logo, you may click here.
