Thank You to all who submitted to the AMV contest.

San Japan 2.x – is in the books.

San Japan 2.x is over and done. Thank you all who came to our booth and to the AMV contest. San Japan was the most successful convention we have been too. It helped increase our traffic to our website by 100%. I cant thank you enough.

I want to give a very special thanks to Dave, (San Japan -ConChair) for giving us the opportunity to prove our-selves in the AMV contest. We look forward to do it again next year. =3

Now that San Japan is over and done. I can now concentrate on the TV Show, for now at least. We are thinking about heading to Realms Con next, and for sure Oni-Con.

Another thing, we may have to change the podcasts… AGAIN. Sorry, I’ve been trying to find the best solution to it that wont take so much bandwidth away. What I might do is convert them to a Flash based video, but unfortunately iTunes wont allow flash videos to be downloaded as a podcast so I have to figure out another way to have them available.

San Japan Status Report.

I know I haven’t updated anything about San Japan, There is nothing wrong. Its just there is a BIG difference in as being a Guest, and another when you are actually apart of the staff.

Either way, the AMV Contest was great. Seemed like everyone enjoyed it. I will be showing the AMV’s that made it to the AMV Screening on a special episode of AFTV, I don’t know when though…

Another thing, I’m sorry If I haven’t posted any pictures or videos; Being apart of the San Japan Staff, really has it’s work cut out. You hardly get to do anything personal like update a blog.

Anyway, Its been fun being apart of San Japan; we would like to look forward to next year.

The Dance is next for me. =3

New San Japan poll & Website Bandwidth

There is a new San-Japan 2.x Poll, this time we would like to know what you are looking forward to this year at San Japan.

Remember San-Japan 2.x is going to be this month, August 14-16, 2009 at San Antonio Municipal Auditorium & Holiday Inn El Tropicano.

Also, It seems like we are getting a lot more visits to the site and people downloading the podcast. Its not a bad thing at all, unless the bandwidth usage is near its cap. lol

For the month of July we used 182.16 GB out of our 200GB cap; already for the month of August we are at 25.75 GB of 200GB. This is the biggest amount of traffic we have ever seen.

Now, I’m not discouraging people not to download the podcast. As a matter of fact, I plan to add more podcasts. Soon, though we will reach our cap, if you see the site down. You’ll know why already. I do plan to purchase more bandwidth. However I don’t know when.

Michael Jackson, and more

First off, R.I.P. Michael, you have been one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to music. Despite what people accuse you and call you. You have impacted the world, second to Jesus Christ. We all loved your work and dance, there will never ever be anyone to top you in our generation.

We hope to have a special podcast soon with the AFTV crew as we remember Michael Jackson, and how he has impacted our lives.

I would also like to announce during San-Japan, at our booth we will have Michael’s classic music playing, we will be dancing and singing along, feel free to join us.

Podcast update

Hey everyone, I’m hoping to be more consistent on updating the podcasts, my goal is to update weekly. I’m also keeping an eye on the amount of bandwidth thats being used, I only have a set amount of bandwidth on Mobile Me. I may submit the RSS feed to iTunes if I see the bandwidth isn’t being eaten up too much.

Also, if your wondering if the podcasts work on iPhones, yes, they do. =)
