Season 6 Kick-Off Event! Feat. Power Stone Tournament! @ Otaku Cafe

Come and join us at RikRic Otaku Cafe Saturday July 22nd, where we will be showcasing classic AFTV episodes & AMV’s all day!

Showings begin at 12:30 PM and run up to our Season 6 premiere at 11:00 PM

We will be hosting a Power Stone & Power Stone 2 Tournament on Sega Dreamcast hardware!

Power Stone 1 & 2 Tournament sign-ups are free!*
(*$5 ALL-DAY Arcade pass is required.)

Power Stone & Power Stone 2 practice and sparing begins at 1:00 PM

Tournament signups open from 1:00 PM – 5:15 PM 

Power Stone (1 on 1 Double Elimination*) Tournament begins at 5:30 PM
(*Standard Double Elimination bracket. Standard time limit. Draws will start a new match.)

Power Stone 2 (4 Player Battle Royal Double Elimination**) Tournament will commence at the conclusion of Power Stone eliminations.
(**Standard Double Elimination bracket. 4 Player Battle Royal, the last person standing wins the match. Standard time limit. Sudden Death after the time limit is exceeded. No revivals allowed.)

New “Share for a Share” Program

We need to get the news of our last and final season of AFTV, set to premiere July 22nd, into the streets.

In doing so we have started going to local anime, comic, videogame & gaming shops around town to post our flyer.

Every business that provides a display spot for our flyer will be added to our “Local Supporters” page at no cost to them.

We believe in supporting our local shops as it helps grow their respective fandoms. However, we can’t get them all.

If you own a local business and would like a spot on our dedicated page, all you need to do is…

1. Print out our flyer and post it at a visible location at your shop
2. Notify us on either Facebook or Twitter with a photo of the flyer at your shop
3. We will add you to our list of Local Supporters page.

Starting with Episode 13 of Season 6 we will provide a QR code at the end of each episode that will direct our viewers to the list of Local Supporters.

Season 6 premiere date is set!

Set your calendars & reminders! 1st set of episodes of AnimeFunTV Season 6 are ready and premiere date is set!

Season 6 will premiere Saturday, July 22nd @ 11:00PM CST.

You can watch the show on San Antonio’s Public Access Cable TV Live stream directly at AnimeFunTV.com or on San Antonio’s Public Access Cable TV Channel 20 on Spectrum. Click here for more info on other cable tv providers.

We are trying to set up a premiere party for those who’d like to meet the crew and ask questions about the show. We will have more info on that soon.

AFTV Season 6 Status Update + Major Announcement!

It took us a long while, but we have finished compiling over 650+ AMV’s files!

This spans all the AMV submissions that did not make it to the convention AMV Contest’s we hosted for several years. I hope ya’ll understand the large scope of Season 6 as to why it’s taking us a long time to bring it to you. There is still work to be done such as rendering and editing; so we’ll have our Season 6 premiere date soon.

This does not include the actual AMV submissions that made it into the AMV Contests themselves as those will be aired separately in their own specials.

Lastly our Major Announcement…

Season 6 will be our LAST season of AnimeFunTV.

Yes, you heard right. AnimeFunTV will retire after 20 long years. This decision was based on everyone in the crew agreeing that Season 6 should be our season finale; with over 650+ AMV’s as our grand finale, it would be the best time to retire the show.

This isn’t the absolute end of UltraSonic Entertainment however as we will be moving into different (smaller) side projects at a much later date.

With all that said, we love you guys. Thank you for staying with us.
