New Episodes Coming.

With a new update to Premiere Pro CS5 on the Macintosh, It fixed a bug that has been plaguing me for months. Now that its fixed I can start work on new episodes. The next 4 episodes will be a Special of San Japan :3 just in time for August for San Japan 4TW – August 5th-7th.

iCloud & the end of Apple Website Hosting?

With the announcement of iCloud from Apple, Apple has decided to end MobileMe, and any possible hosting of websites that are associated with MobileMe’s iDisk online data storage. Whats this mean for AnimeFunTV? It means we have up till June 30, 2012 to move our website to another dedicated server, which will also mean I have to do a complete re-deign of the site….. AGAIN.

I’m in a search to find a online hosting service that is reasonably priced and is able to allow us to have our entire catalog of shows to view. The search begins….

Summer Show line-up & Events

Well, the City elections are done and over with. I got 5% of the vote for my District. Which all in all is not bad for a $0 balance campaign and just showing up to events.

What you all may be asking at this point is when in the hell are new shows going to start? Well, soon hopefully, I want to start airing some of the old-school footage I shot back when most of the crew was still together. That means mostly no AMV’s for a while until I get that stuff done.

Also we have a new Facebook page. I will let you know that the AFTV Facebook page will prolly contain more up-to-date stuff since its much easier to update that than it is updating the actual .com site

Another thing I have to let you guys know is the podcast page will more than likely wont be updated anytime soon. Its very frustrating, I know. Its actually very hard to find a reliable source online to keep the massive amounts of space in order to have all the old shows up. So until I can find a good source, the podcasts will not be updated anytime soon.

Lastly, San Japan:4TW is coming soon, we are once again hosting the AMV contest for San Japan. For more info on that, visit San-Japan.org

Long over-due Update

Many of you may wonder what is the status of AFTV, well currently its on hold due to the fact that I am running for City Councilman of San Antonio. Thats right, I’m running in my district, District 3, You may see my Facebook Campaign page you can see all the articles that have mentioned me.

Win or lose, I plan to get back into working on new stuff for AFTV so I really appreciate everyone’s patience for new shows.

Ikkicon AMV Contest

This year we will be at Ikkicon V, in Austin TX. We will have another AMV Panel and also be hosting Ikki’s AMV Contest/Showcase.

We are currently Scheduled for our AMV Panel on Friday, December 31st at 2:00p.m. and the AMV Contest/Showcase right after Opening Ceremonies at 5:00p.m.

Small Update

Just a small update, I’ve been pondering about doing an Ikkicon AMV special, however going back and looking at the AMV submissions they were only just a handful that would really not make it a special at all. So my plan is to just wait untill Ikkicon V is over and do both a Ikk IV & V special instead.

Also again I will not be at Oni-Con this year, sad, I know.

Other than that, I don’t really have any new episodes planned, It sucks I know. I really would like to get something done for the end of this year so we’ll just have to see what comes up.

Slight Update

Hey all,

This is just a slight update, we are getting some new equipment in, we have sold our two Canon HV20 HD camcorders and have purchased a new Canon HV40 HD camcorder. It is a big step as fair as video quality goes, unfortunately we only purchased one. So their will be no muli-camera angle shots in some of the recored segments we normally do.

I do plan on having a live podcast once we get the camcorder in so keep an eye out for the air date.

Also Epikon has been postponed until 2012, we are still doing the AMV contest for them, but not until next year.

I have made it official that we will NOT be able to attend Oni-Con, I love Oni-Con with all my heart but the finances are not available for us to go.
