Until further notice the AFTV website will be up and down as I make the final touches to the site. The full site will debut Saturday, March 31st during Mizuumi-Con. I will have some nice surprises come during the debut.

We will be at Mizuumi-Con at Our Lady of the Lake University this coming Saturday showing off some of the best AMV’s we have from our past season’s and past AMV Contests we hosted.

For those who are checking out the website, we are currently working on updating the site. It takes time and the site will be consistently up and down through out the days and possibly weeks. You can check out our Facebook page Facebook/AnimeFunTV for any additional information about the process.

A lot has happened in the past few months. Yes we are still alive and well, plus I know you all have been just asking for new episodes for such a long time. I understand completely how much you guys long for new episodes, we still have lots of material to air so don’t think we are packing our bags just yet.

Since we no longer are apart of San Japan we can now focus more on the local scene’s and other aspects of the Anime/Animation fandom.

We also have our 10 year anniversary coming up next year so we have lots in store for you.

Another announcement is we will be switching servers soon as the MobileMe/iDisk web hosting services will be discontinued soon for our main website. Its going to take a while for us to convert the site to WordPress and keep the archive of our old stuff. You can always go to our Facebook page (link to page is below) for updates if the site is down.

So please bear with us as we start moving forward, I promise you will be surprised at what we have in store for you all. :3

It may already have already come to the attention of others, but for those who are not aware. AMV Contest Sanctioning body AnimeFunTV and anime convention San Japan have parted ways due to confidential disagreements within the San Japan organization. We greatly appreciate everyone who participated in the AnimeFun TV AMV Contests & Feedback group and look forward into continuing our partnership with other local conventions.

As part of this separation, San Japan will no longer use AnimeFunTV’s Rules & Guidelines for the immediate future, including category trademarks such as ‘Fast Action’, ‘Epic Drama’, ‘Comedy/Freestyle’, ‘Comedy/Songs’. Nor will they be allowed to unique aspects of the Rules & Guidelines that were developed by AnimeFunTV.

AnimeFunTV, located in San Antonio, TX will no longer have any affiliation with any parts in or around San Japan’s organization.

If any such aspects of the AnimeFunTV AMV Rules & Guidelines are used, legal consultations may be considered and pursued.
