Filmed in 2005, I had the weird opportunity to interview mostly everyone who was apart of AFTV at the time. Here we have an uncut & unedited interview with Jesse Lopez. Jesse was known to be the ‘Wild one’ in the entire AFTV cast and often gave is unique idea’s and prospective on the gaming industry and also sports. Jesse left the AFTV cast in 2006 to pursue other things and is often remembered and missed by the crew.

A few facts about this video, This was made around 2005-2006 this episode was to be a 1 hour episode however it got lost during a hard drive failure and I thought it was lost forever. This episode contained AFTV Season 3 AMV Awards! Thats it for this week, next Thursday we will upload more videos.

Last one for tonight,
Poof of concept, never publicly released video.
Year: 2007
This is a short intro video with Chris Gloria and myself. This proof of concept was filmed in Corpus Christi, TX with our good friend Ross Ramirez behind the camera. This concept was to see how well my laptop at the time could handle recording direct to disk and also multi-camera. It would later be proved that while the multi-camera software worked, the laptop was really lagging and the amount of time needed to make transmissions took too long for it to be practical during mobile filming and also without any local power sources the laptop battery would drain rapidly, ending our filming too quickly.

Poof of concept, never publicly released video.
Year: 2006
This is a proof of concept of a scrolling lower third title in an AMV. While the concept was awesome at the time, to continue the concept proved to be very time consuming for each video as each title had to be custom tailored to each video which is why it was only done for the Best in Season 3 AMV’s which was only used in Episode 1 of Pre-Season 5.

In this video we have Jesse Lopez who was head of AFTV Show Operations at the time, and Keri Bean, the Con-Chair of San Japan in the beginning. The topic, during the turn of 2006 the city of San Antonio had lost its public access, government, and educational channels with Time Warner Cable. Then Mayor Phil Hardberger and city council members agreed to finance and operate the public access channel. In turn, both AFTV and San Japan agreed to give free passes to all the city council members and the mayor for brining back public access. It wasn’t till a few weeks after this video was finalized that things started to deteriorate with internal politics and several events that happened internally with the San Japan group that we decided not to air this during a city council meeting and also ending our relationship with San Japan at the time.
